Puerto Plata Village offers plenty to see and do without ever leaving our resort grounds. But that doesn’t mean you should miss out on local sights.

Aside from the endless array of nearby shopping, exploring and beach activities—both in and out of the water—you need only to venture steps away to tee off on the lush greens of Playa Dorada Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones. Or play on one of six clay-surface tennis courts located right on our grounds, two of which can be illuminated for night games and a third adjacent to the shore, offering scenic sea views.

And of course Puerto Plata Village is a family resort, serving guests of all ages. Children love spending time at our Kids’ Club, where they can partake in group activities and make new friends. There’s also a dedicated childrens’ pool and a playground located directly on the beach.

Once you return to Puerto Plata Village for the night, you’ll certainly make a habit of visiting El Ayuntamiento Lobby and Piano Bar. For a pre-dinner cocktail or post-dinner nightcap, the dulcet piano music eases you into the carefree ambience of the Caribbean.
